Zain’s Innovation Platform Renews Sponsorship of Qantara Center for Human Resources Development in Ma’an

ain Jordan, through its Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC), has renewed its collaboration and sponsorship agreement with the Qantara Center for Human Resources Development in Ma’an. This partnership, which has been in place for several years, enables Zain to provide support for the center’s efforts to build the capacities of young people in southern Jordan, equipping them with essential skills and inspiring them towards entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation. Zain’s sponsorship helps promote social and economic participation among youth through events and initiatives organized by the center throughout the year.

The support from ZINC aligns with its strategy to empower youth across Jordan, especially in southern governorates, by fostering an environment conducive to creativity and innovation. Through the organization of training workshops covering entrepreneurship, the latest in modern technology, and other areas, ZINC contributes to enhancing the skills of young people in Ma’an and southern governorates, preparing them for the job market and reinforcing their roles in local community development.

Under this agreement, ZINC will continue to provide valuable resources and opportunities for youth in various regions of Jordan, in line with its vision of supporting and empowering Jordanian youth to achieve their ambitions and open new horizons in entrepreneurship. This renewal coincides with ZINC’s 10th anniversary, marking a decade of fostering innovators and entrepreneurs across the Kingdom, which has bolstered Jordan’s reputation as a regional entrepreneurship hub.

Founded in 2012 by local youth in Ma’an, Qantara Center for Human Resources Development is managed and overseen by its founders. Recognized for its impactful community service, the center received the King Abdullah II Award for Excellence in 2017. Over the years, it has served more than 25,000 beneficiaries from Ma’an and southern governorates, offering programs in talent development, creativity, economic empowerment, and civic participation. The center operates in three main locations: Qantara Innovation Space, Training and Language Center, and Qantara Business Incubator.
