Amman, October 13, 2023: Zain Jordan, in collaboration with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, has announced the initiation of a humanitarian fundraising campaign to support the people of the Gaza Strip, who have been enduring the ongoing aggression. This move is part of Zain's commitment to the Jordanian stance on the Palestinian cause, reflecting its social, humanitarian, national, and patriotic responsibility towards the brothers and sisters in Palestine. The campaign, which started this Friday and continues until the end of Sunday, involves collecting cash donations from individuals using various subscription plans. Zain subscribers can participate by dialing (#710*) to choose the donation amount, which will be added to their monthly bill for postpaid subscribers or deducted from the prepaid balance for prepaid subscribers. The collected funds will be directed to purchase and provide essential medical supplies, medications, and basic necessities by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, contributing to the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
As part of the campaign, Zain is offering all its subscribers, including individuals, companies, and prepaid users, 1000 free calling minutes valid for three days starting from Friday. This initiative aims to enable Zain's customers to stay in constant communication with their families and loved ones in Palestine, supporting them during these challenging times. Furthermore, Zain has organized an internal fundraising campaign among its employees to contribute to alleviating the suffering of our brothers and sisters in the resilient city of Gaza.
