As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance financial inclusion and accelerate the transition toward a digital economy in Jordan, Zain Cash has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Jeeny, the leading smart transportation platform. The partnership aims to provide flexible digital payment solutions for drivers and enable them to manage their daily digital financial transactions seamlessly and securely.
This partnership aligns with Zain Cash’s strategy to expand the base of beneficiaries of its innovative digital financial services, strengthen financial inclusion, and empower individuals—particularly Jeeny’s driver partners—by enabling access to the digital financial services offered by Zain Cash. The initiative contributes to enhancing drivers’ financial stability and reflects Zain Cash’s commitment to building a sustainable digital society.
Under the agreement, Jeeny drivers will be able to open and activate their own Zain Cash wallets linked to their designated Jeeny driver accounts through Jeeny offices or Zain stores. Drivers will also receive free Zain Cash cards, enabling them to conduct financial transactions easily and securely. In the near future, Jeeny shopping vouchers/cards will be added to the Zain Cash application, allowing Zain Cash cardholders and users to purchase and use them directly through the app.
As part of this collaboration, Zain Cash participated as the official sponsor of Jeeny’s “Summit Event,” held to honor outstanding drivers. Zain Cash’s sponsorship comes in recognition of the drivers’ efforts and their role in delivering an exceptional user experience. Zain Cash also awarded cash prizes of up to JOD 300 per honored driver, as part of its ongoing support for its partners.
Since its launch in 2011, Zain Cash has become a key player in the digital financial services and prepaid cards sector in Jordan, and is the largest issuer of Mastercard cards in the Kingdom. Zain Cash offers a wide and diverse range of digital financial services, enabling wallet users to conduct transactions such as cash withdrawals and deposits, make purchases at various points of sale including retail stores and restaurants, and shop online locally and internationally through the Zain Cash Mastercard, which is issued immediately upon wallet activation.
In addition, Zain Cash provides Sharia-compliant credit cards across three tiers—Classic, Platinum, and World—without interest or fees, offering enhanced benefits and comprehensive financing solutions to help users manage their finances more effectively. Issued in cooperation with Mastercard, these credit cards offer limits starting from JOD 100 up to JOD 5,000, without the need for salary transfer and with no card issuance fees.
