Zain focused its efforts during 2023 on providing a comprehensive digital experience for its subscribers

Amman, January 7, 2024: During the year 2023, Zain Jordan introduced a range of distinctive offers and services across its network and digital platforms, focusing on providing a comprehensive digital experience for its subscribers and customers accustomed to excellence and staying abreast of the latest technologies. This reaffirms Zain's commitment to maintaining its leadership in the Jordanian telecommunications and information technology sector, supporting the country's digital transformation.

Throughout 2023, Zain continued its investment in its network, introducing the latest technologies to the Kingdom as part of its commitment to developing the telecommunications infrastructure and digital system. The company recently announced the launch of its 5G network, commercially offering exclusive and premium packages starting from 22 JD, with speeds of 200 megabits per second and reaching unlimited speeds. Subscribers were given the option to choose the suitable device, including the latest (Wi-Fi 6) technology routers or portable routers (Mi-Fi). Additionally, Zain exclusively introduced, for the first time in Jordan, fixed wireless access service through 5G technology, providing users with a high-efficiency external receiver for a seamless and high-speed fixed internet experience. Zain covered a significant number of areas in the Kingdom with the latest 5G networks, especially in vital and central areas, ensuring the best experience for its customers. The company plans to continue expanding service coverage to include new areas in the coming stages and by the year 2024.

In 2023, Zain also launched the new generation of Fiber-To-The-Room (FTTR) technology, being the first telecommunications company in the Kingdom to do so. Through this modern technology, Zain provided its customers with the best home internet solutions with fixed and ultra-high speeds of up to 2000 megabits per second. This service also supports (Wi-Fi 6) technology, ensuring coverage throughout the house, including large spaces with multiple rooms and floors. Zain extended fiber optics to each room with high precision, enabling subscribers to enjoy unparalleled internet service throughout their homes without interruption. This service was introduced with an exclusive offer available at a speed of 2000 megabits per second.

Zain continued its expansion plans to cover all parts of the Kingdom with fiber optics, being the first telecommunications company to cover several camps in different provinces during 2023. These camps include Al-Baqaa camp in Al-Balqa Governorate, Gaza and Souf camps in Jerash Governorate, Al-Awda and Azmi Al-Mufti camps in Irbid Governorate, and Al-Talbiyah camp in the capital, Amman. Zain's fixed internet service reached 75,000 families in the camps, covering 77% of the total camp area.

Throughout the year, Zain provided its subscribers with a series of exclusive offers through its digital platforms, with a highlight being its e-commerce store (Zain eShop). The store offered exclusive deals on devices with the option of installment payments through credit cards from several banks in the Kingdom. Subscribers also received special discounts on the e-commerce store through promotional codes with varying discount percentages. For subscribers on the deferred payment system, Zain allowed them to benefit from the device discount on their subscriptions through purchase vouchers on its e-commerce store. Furthermore, Zain's mobile application (Zain Jo App) provided subscribers with exclusive rewards and prizes through the "Wheel of Fortune" competition, recognizing the loyalty of its subscribers and encouraging them to use the app for managing their lines and subscriptions easily and quickly, including adding and canceling services, paying bills, and recharging lines, all at the best price.

Zain continued to offer modern and distinctive services to its subscribers and customers in its entirely new showrooms, which were reopened in 2023. These showrooms changed the traditional concept of customer service, transitioning to a new phase of exceptional services in a comprehensive digital experience. Zain also launched the Apple Pay service on all its digital platforms, allowing its customers with Apple devices to securely pay their bills, recharge their lines, and make purchases easily and quickly. This move reflects the company's commitment to providing the latest technologies by offering the best electronic payment solutions through its digital platforms.
