259,000 Beneficiaries of Zain’s Free Mobile Clinic for Children

Amman, January 13, 2025: As part of its corporate social responsibility efforts and ongoing commitment to supporting the healthcare sector in Jordan and providing healthcare services to those in need, Zain's free mobile clinic for children served over 6,000 children in 2024. This was achieved through regular visits to various underprivileged villages and areas throughout the year.

Since its launch in 2002, the clinic has provided services to a total of 259,000 children across the Kingdom. This initiative is part of Zain's continuous efforts to support the local community and its steadfast commitment to strengthening the healthcare sector, which it prioritizes through its sustainable programs and initiatives. The clinic aims to enhance access to healthcare services and promote health awareness among citizens, aligning with the company's adoption of the third Sustainable Development Goal (Good Health and Well-Being) in all its sustainability management programs.

Through strategic partnerships with various organizations to maximize outreach, Zain's mobile clinic collaborated with the Jordan University Hospital to organize visits to elderly care homes and shelters, offering oral and dental care services to residents. Additionally, the mobile clinic participates annually in the Children's Mobile Museum tours across the Kingdom. During these tours, the mobile museum provides educational and exploratory activities, while Zain's clinic offers free healthcare services to children in the visited villages and areas.

In coordination with the Ministry of Health and local community organizations, Zain's free mobile clinic for children provides comprehensive healthcare services, including screening for communicable and infectious diseases, monitoring chronic illnesses, and offering dental and general health checkups for children. Equipped with state-of-the-art medical facilities, the clinic is operated by a qualified team comprising a specialist pediatrician and a dentist. The clinic provides thorough medical examinations for children, including physical checkups, oral and dental health assessments, and the provision of necessary medications and treatments free of charge. Chronic medical cases requiring further attention are referred to specialists in the government healthcare sector to ensure continuity of care.
