 Zain inaugurates its sixth mobile training center in Salt




Zain Jordan on Tuesday opened its sixth mobile training center at the Vocational Training Corporation in Salt, which provides free training courses for young people in the maintenance of mobile phones, as part of its cooperation agreement with the Vocational Training Corporation.

The Center was inaugurated under the patronage of Dr. Eng. Ghazi Al-Jabbour, Chairman of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission Commissioners, in the presence of Zain Jordan CEO Fahad Al-Jassem, Director General of Vocational Training Corporation Eng. Ziad Obaidat and a group of media representatives.

The audience listened to a briefing about the center and a speech by the Director of Salt Artisanal Institute, during an introductory tour within the center, during which the audience was briefed on the mechanism of work and the equipment and equipment of the international standards, and the main requirements necessary to ensure high training efficiency for students, Capacity-building and sustainable economic and social development.

In a speech delivered by Eng. Obaidat, the Director General of Vocational Training Corporation, Zain has achieved its focus and partnership with the Foundation on the axis of supporting vocational education as one of the pillars of its social responsibility strategy. Solving the problem of unemployment, and we have been working together for the past ten years, where Zain Jordan worked to develop its initiatives to establish centers for training young people in the maintenance of mobile devices, was the start in 2008 and after our success together in the governorates of Zarqa, Irbid, Amman, Tafileh and Karak Aided in Salt with the aim of expanding the umbrella of services provided for all corners of the country and to increase the number of beneficiaries of these courses.

Dr. Ghazi Al-Jabour praised the partnership between the two parties and the pivotal and important role of the Vocational Training Institute and its investment in the Jordanian youth, calling on the private sector to take its role in contributing to the nation's construction. The establishment of the center is part of Zain's plan to expand its sustainable initiatives to cover different regions of the Kingdom. It provides youth through its centers free training courses on maintenance of mobile phones to help them find jobs or establish their own work in this field. Males and females free to maintain cellular devices by specialized experts through intensive courses each of three months of theoretical and practical training, and then give them certificates to practice this profession after graduation, which reflects positively on improving the standard of living and qualify them to enter the labor market, where they arrived Percentage of The number of students who graduated from Zain training centers for maintenance of mobile devices reached 80% for males and 60% for females. The number of students who graduated from Zain centers reached more than 1000 students.

Zain introduced a new feature in its training courses in the centers, the first of its kind in the Kingdom, through the inclusion of Deaf people in these courses, where in July last year, launched the first free intensive training course on the maintenance of mobile devices dedicated to the deaf category, The students received intensive training for 4 months, including one month as a practical training and the rest to study the theoretical curriculum.Zain has equipped special halls and equipment to suit the requirements of the deaf students, so that they can benefit and train easily and effectively on the maintenance of mobile devices, while specialized experts trained Under Ishra Signal specialists - who have experience in the field of maintenance of mobile devices - Zain disseminates this experience to all its centers, so that the courses become integral courses that bring together deaf and native speakers, both male and female.​
