Amman, September 14, 2025: Zain Jordan, through its innovation platform (ZINC), in partnership with Nokia and Al-Balqa Applied University, and in collaboration with knowledge-transfer partner Kawkab.ai, launched the “AI Bootcamp,” which kicked off today and will run for five consecutive days at Zain Innovation Campus’ headquarters in King Hussein Business Park.
The bootcamp was inaugurated by Eng. Mudhar Ghaleb Al-Zoubi, General Manager of Nokia Jordan, and is hosting 70 young men and women who were selected from more than 450 applicants based on specific criteria. These included team size, quality of the proposed idea, feasibility of implementation within the bootcamp period, participants’ technical backgrounds, and their knowledge of AI programming languages.
Throughout the bootcamp, participants will have the opportunity to benefit from both local and international expertise, gain exposure to advanced tools and technologies in the field of artificial intelligence, and receive hands-on training focused on product development. The interactive environment combines creativity, learning, and practical application, offering participants a comprehensive experience that takes them from idea development all the way to pitching their projects at the end of the program.
The organization of this bootcamp by Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC) falls within its ongoing efforts to support youth and entrepreneurs, and to strengthen Jordan’s position as a regional hub for innovation and technology. Through this initiative, the platform aims to develop and launch 20 minimum viable AI-powered products that could serve as the foundation for future startups, contributing to advancing Jordan’s digital transformation journey and driving economic growth.
