Amman, November 27, 2024: As part of its corporate social responsibility and its dedication to supporting children and youth without familial support in the community, Zain Jordan announced the renewal of its commitment to supporting SOS Children's Villages Jordan for the 25th consecutive year. Over the years, Zain has provided financial and in-kind support valued at approximately one million Jordanian Dinars, aiming to assist the organization's mission and support its noble goals of providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children and youth, ensuring them a dignified life and a better future.
Zain's support for SOS Children's Villages Jordan throughout these years has included sponsoring five homes in the organization's villages in Amman, Irbid, and Aqaba. The company commits to providing annual financial support of 75,000 Jordanian Dinars for these homes. Additionally, Zain organizes regular visits, social and recreational activities, and participates in all events and celebrations, particularly during Ramadan by hosting Iftar meals in all the villages to bring joy and happiness to the children. Zain also places special emphasis on offering quality services in sports, health, and technology for the future, along with its desire to contribute to improving the lives of children and youth residing in the villages through future projects aimed at creating a warm and stable environment for them.
Coinciding with SOS Children's Villages Jordan's celebration of 40 years of service since its establishment, Zain recently organized a visit to the SOS Children's Village in Aqaba following the completion of the first phase of its renovation. The company also provided additional financial support to secure winter clothing and supplies for children, youth, and caregivers as winter approaches. This step reflects Zain's ongoing commitment to children and youth without familial support and its appreciation for the organization's four-decade-long journey of care and dedication.
