Zain Jordan received an award of honor from the Essl Foundation at the United Nations headquarters in Vienna for establishing an innovative ecosystem for creating a better world with technology for the deaf and hard-of-hearing. The ceremony was attended by esteemed guests as HRH Prince Mired Bin Red Bin Zeid, Mr. Martin Essl founder of the Essl Foundation and Dr. Michael Fembek, representatives of the Essl Foundation, Zero Project Program Manager and leading representatives from governments, UN agencies, city Mayors, and large tech company chairs. 




January 2018

Zain Jordan received the award of Mohammed Bin Rashid Awards for Young Business Leaders for the Gold Category of Best Social Entrepreneurship Responsibility Initiative in the Arab World, for its entrepreneurial initiative: Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC). The award was received the award during the award ceremony that was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and was deputized by Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum at Dubai World Trade Center.

Zain Jordan received the "Leadership in Communication in the Arab World" Award, from awarded by the Union of Arab Banks Committee and both The Euromoney and The Banker magazines, during a ceremony held in cooperation with Princess Taghreed Foundation for Development and Training, in recognition of its growing role in telecommunications, the continuous development and improvement of its network infrastructure, and the introduction of the latest innovations to deliver the most advanced services.


September 2016

Zain Jordan won the category of the ‘Best Consumer Service’ for the success in re-launching the ‘Zain Cash Service’ that aimed to introduce a new medium for financial presence across the Hashemite Kingdome of Jordan, an initiative for financial ease & inclusion, aimed at providing a mobile wallet to more than 1.5 million people in Jordan by 2020. Zain Jordan garnered regional recognition at the prestigious ‘Telecoms World Middle East Awards 2016’ at a Gala Dinner Ceremony in Dubai, The Conrad Hotel



May 2016

Zain Jordan received two prestigious awards from the prestigious ‘2016 Global Telecom Business (GTB) Innovation Awards’ ceremony held in London in May 2016. Zain claimed Innovation in Business Category Award for the relaunch of EMAL under the name “Zain Cash” with a broader scope, richer portfolio, and more integrated ecosystem. Zain also received the Innovation in Consumer Category Award for launcing Al Basma Line & The Business Solution that is tailored specially for the segment of the Deaf.


November 2015

Zain Jordan was presented with the award for best Industry Service from the 10th annual instalment of the CommsMEA Awards held in Dubai. Zain’s Industry Service award was in relation to Zain Jordan’s initiative to enable aspiring entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into reality by scaling up and converting their plans into productive start-up projects. ZINC was inaugurated in October 2014 by King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan and is spread over 800 square meters of premises in King Hussein Business Park. The campus has more than 60 strategic partners and vendors, led by Coventry University, which supports and provides resources for mentoring youth and coaching start-ups.

Zain Jordan scooped up a major award at the ‘Customer Festival Middle East Awards 2015’ during a gala ceremony at The Address Hotel Dubai Marina. Zain Jordan has been successfully selected, by the judging panel, as a winner in this category for what has been put in view that the customer service excellence has always been and will always be one of the critical competitive advantages for Zain. The competition for the Customer Festival Middle East Awards 2015 was opened to the region's biggest brands across all industries. Zain Jordan has been able to demonstrate  its aptitude in shaping differentiations. The  product advantage or the price advantage can be duplicated, but the strong customer service culture of Zain Jordan cannot be copied, and that is why Zain Jordan is a victorious all the time in such a demanding market.

Zain Jordan received the “Best Operator Network” award, in recognition of its continuous development and upgrade for its network infrastructure and network architecture, improvements that has been made to innovate Zain Jordan’s retail operation and to introduce services that evolve with the ever-changing communications landscape, providing customers with greater versatility as well as connecting more areas of the country to our superfast broadband services.  This is in addition to the introduction of the 4G services that have placed Jordan alongside the world’s leading nations, and Zain Jordan among the top operators worldwide.

Likewise,  the contact center and the help desk teams that utilize innovative methods, metrics and ideas to provide quality support to their customers with strong business performance, and the utilization of the social media as a strategic channel for excellent customer interaction, engagement, service support, marketing and sales promotions which contributed in improvements in customer satisfaction, brand and products awareness, and customer loyalty in the social media community. Zain Jordan is the best in the  sector for customer experience in the region.

Zain Jordan received “Service Agility Award” from TM Forum Agility Challenge Awards ceremony that was held in France, due to its swift decision making process and response to telecom market dynamics, in addition to launching services and tailoring offers of cutting edge technologies that match these dynamics and cater for the ever-changing needs of customers.

Zain Jordan received the ‘Best Employment Generation Award’ at the MENA CSR Excellence Awards, at the gala ceremony held in Dubai. The awards have recognized the outstanding achievements of organizations and teams that have contributed to the development of the CSR and sustainability agenda in the MENA region. As Zain showcased its commitment towards supporting local communities through launching several sustainable initiatives in various domains that positively influence the development of community.

The award was given to Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC) as the latest chapter in Zain Jordan’s efforts to not only push the boundaries of mobile communications, but also reshape the future of innovation in Jordan and the Middle East. Zain received The Innovation in Consumer Category Award at the prestigious ‘2015 Global Telecom Business (GTB) Innovation Awards’ at a gala ceremony held in London. The award was claimed by Zain for its service “Zain Pay” (Direct Operator Billing), a service that allows customers to pay for digital and virtual content from third-party providers by charging the transaction to the customers’ monthly mobile phone bill or using their prepaid credit, which resembles a mobile payment solution that is simple and secure for customers to pay for their purchases via their mobile phones as well as enrich their customer experience.

Zain Jordan received the awards of The Middle East Operator of the Year 2013 and The Best Customer Service Provider of the Year 2013 during Telecoms Review CEOs Leaders’ Summit that was organized by Telecom’s Review Magazine and held in Dubai. The two awards resemble the fruitful result of the combined efforts of Zain staff towards enhancing Zain’s position as the best operator on a local level and a regional level as well.

Zain Jordan received the award of best operator VAS, during Telecoms World Middle East 2013 ceremony,  for launching four applications during the current year; the applications included an application of international roaming services for data, in partnership with the "iPass WIFI" company, which is specialized in mobility services. The application allows the postpaid customers to access the Internet while traveling across geographic boundaries, and when they are presence in more than 1.2 million locations in 117 countries around the world.
