 Postpaid Roaming

Postpaid customers can add International Roaming Services upon request.


Postpaid Roaming:

Postpaid customers can access International Roaming Services upon request, and use their local Zain Line while travelling abroad by connecting to other GSM networks that enjoy a roaming agreement with Zain Jordan.

Postpaid customers who wish to subscribe to Zain’s International Roaming Services can visit any of Zain’s shops, or call the Zain Customer Care Center at 1234.
  • There are no connection fees or monthly charges for customers to set up their phone for use abroad, but setting up a connection is subject to a deposit.
  • Customers will only need to subscribe to the service once, following which they will be able to use their phones at all times when abroad. 
  • Corporate customers can request a roaming service by sending a fax to 06-5821111 during working hours.

Whilst travelling, customers can:

  • Make calls to any global destination
  • Receive calls from any global destination
  • Send and receive SMS messages
  • Use GPRS services (Internet, WAP, MMS, and Blackberry)*


How to make a call while roaming abroad:

To make a national call (local) when roaming on a visited network, customers should:

Dial the area code followed by the telephone number.

 
To make an International call within the visited network, customers should:
Dial the International access code, country code and area code, followed by the telephone number.
 
In case of emergencies, customers can dial 112 at any time and in any country.

GPRS-Roaming

Customers can enjoy GPRS Roaming Services (Internet, WAP, MMS, and Blackberry) while roaming abroad in countries that have an agreement with Zain Jordan for GPRS roaming coverage. This service is now available to all Zain Postpaid customers.

How customers can subscribe:
Zain customers can add GPRS services settings by calling the Zain Customer Care Center at 1234; visiting one of Zain’s shops or by sending "set" to 95000 to automatically adjust their mobile settings before travelling.

* Customers need to activate the International Roaming Service
