In order to use the Maktabi services please follow these steps:
1. Go to your Maktabi settings page and fill out the required field and most importantly which e-mail address you would like to receive notifications on. You will receive notifications on all missed calls, voice messages and faxes.
2. Set up your Voicemail as follows:
Simply dial 1717 and follow the simple tutorial and once you have completed it your Voicemail will be activated.
To set up your Voicemail to suit your needs please note the below divert codes:
- For free retrievalfrom your own mobile simply dial 1717.
- From another mobile dial 1818 when prompted, press # & enter your mobile phone number. When prompted enter your password.
- From a Landline dial 1818 when prompted press # & enter your mobile phone number, when prompted enter your password
- From outside Jordan or while Roaming dial +962790001818 when prompted press # & enter your mobile number when prompted, enter your password.
3. Set up a Fax line (number) on your already existing SIM. This can be done by visiting one of our shops or calling 1234.
Once the Fax is provided you will be able to receive all your faxes wherever you go.
Simply follow these steps:
Divert all fax calls to your Voicemail, this option is available in your handset under divert Fax calls and once prompted enter the following divert code **21*0790001722#.
Important note:
If your handset is the NOKIA communicator 9500 or 9300 then you do not have to divert your FAX calls.
